Cited Source Plausibility

How can you determine a sources credibility?

To generalize the prospective audience, a writer must first establish a standard argument. Once an argument is determined the proper research must be completed to solidify an argument. Proper research techniques can make the process a whole lot easier. From knowing the information needed, to choosing the proper sources. A cited source’s credibility can make or break an argument. A writer can solidify their point with a strong source or lose their audience with a weakened source. With that being said, the question of what makes a source credible or non-credible comes into play. The different types of sources play a role in the versatility of the argument; whether it is from the internet, a book, or a self conducted interview or survey. Overall the credibility of an argument is determined by the quality of the sources.

Which form of sources holds the highest credibility: Survey, Interview, Book, or the internet?

"Liberal Arts"

What level of importance do liberal arts have? Are they worth their mandatory participation?

Mark Jackson claims that although he doesn't completely agree with everyone unwillinglly taking liberal arts; there is a more practical way to view them. Although at first he was less reasonable, he later saw their positive upside. Jackson believes that if the arts were made more attractive by the employers, students would view them with a greater significance. However, he does agree that students shouldn't have to take classes that don't pertain to their career field, whether in a direct or indirect manner. Jackson's compromising approach is very intriguing and magnatizes his perspective on the issue. Should Liberal Arts be a mandatory participation?
